BATIMAT 2007 has closed its gates. In the course of six days' hard work at the exposition, attending construction industry representatives each found at our booth material to suit his/her particular interests. Activity was not restricted to taking orders, but included negotiations with customers, some of which already use EdiCAD software. Booth workers also came across users who have been sizing up EdiCAD solutions for some time as a possible complement to the tools they are already using.
The BATIMAT "grand expo" is an excellent place to sit back and observe, where representatives of the broadest spectrum of the field plot the contours of future products through their questions and their rightful demands. The expo is a challenge for new products, packages, and pricing policies. It is here it is decided whether marketing and actual user expectations will actually meet. For the duration of the exposition, EdiCAD offered a graphically supported budget planning program at a very low price (149 €). The program can be used by any branch of the trade and can be developed to more refined levels. Based on the opinion of master tradesman, preparatory offices, and budget experts alike, it was decided that the product should continue to be sold over the Internet in the same manner.
BATIMAT is one of the most important international forums for the review of technical solutions and service used in the construction industry. The exposition welcomes construction industry representatives from the 5th to the 10th of November, 2007, at the Porte de Versailles in Paris.
This year, EdiCAD (Hall 5, Promenade B, Booth 31) is demonstrating its ArchiTECH.PC integrated system, which handles architectural planning and related budgetary information dynamically, in a single software package.
The ArchiTECH.PC integrated system also has the capability of connecting to some of the other software packages currently used by architectural offices, and offers an export/import option that may be used to input information in standard drawing or text format (DXF, DWG, VRML, JPG, PDF, PICT, APJV, etc., and TXT, XML, MDB, XLS..., respectively). This novel modular quality renders the program particularly attractive from the financial standpoint.
EdiCAD is also introducing its developments in the pipeline, offered together as the network version of ArchTECH.PC.
Also headed for market is the KutchCAD Basic Budget Planning program, a graphically supported, easy-to-handle, user-friendly solution available at an unusually low price.
