DevisCAD

Creating a bill of materials and a budget directly from the graphic data – whether preparing them themselves or using an external source – is the secret desire of every professional. Of course, no one dares to really hope for such a thing. But with DevisCAD, all of this can actually be done. What’s more, it can be done without needing to forget what you’ve learned when using your budget preparation program.

DevisCAD and ArchiTECH.PC
In ArchiTECH.PC, the bill of materials can be generated automatically by combining the length, width, height, and thickness data found in the design elements on the plan with formulas. A quantity budget can be prepared using the DevisCAD library assigned to the formulas, which contains the different work types.

DevisCAD and KutchCAD
Using KutchCAD, plans from external sources can be inputted. When recording design elements (walls, floors, roofs, objects...) the important data on the elements, such as length, width, height, and thickness, can be re-produced very quickly. After this, the bill of materials and the budget can be prepared in the same way as with ArchiTECH.PC.

DevisCAD documents
DevisCAD generates the documents in the usual format used by office applications. The quantity cost estimate can be viewed in Excel®, the itemized budget in Word®, and the work schedule in Project®.

DevisCAD and other budget-preparation programs
DevisCAD’s double operator surface offers the option of importing the work type library of virtually all of the budget preparation programs available on the market into either ArchiTECH.PC or KutchCAD. This means that within these programs, an itemized, quantity budget can be generated, built on the calculations of ArchiTECH.PC or KutchCAD.
