KutchCAD, quantity takeoff software that complements estimating and management tools
KutchCAD generates quantities and estimates by reproducing and automating the traditional workflow on plans. Reduce manual measurement sheets, repeated checks and continual revisions. In KutchCAD, changing a plan automatically changes its quantities. And because KutchCAD synchronises with your estimating and management software, estimates, technical specifications and 45-1 descriptive notices are generated from the plans.

Place purlins, rafters and battens across roof slopes using section and spacing settings. Add valleys and hips individually. Model traditional timber frames in sections or 3D using stored components such as tie beams, king posts and braces.

Position equipment and connect it with lines. Estimate work by unit or direct cost to measure conduit and cable lengths. Save room specifications in the library to generate an estimate without drawing 2D symbols.
FACADE QUANTITY TAKEOFF FROM PHOTOS
For rendering, painting and cladding, transform perspective photographs into scaled elevation views to measure areas. Tools also reconstruct a building’s complete unfolded facade.
SYNCHRONISATION WITH ESTIMATING AND MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
A direct database connection between KutchCAD and your estimating software avoids import and export filters. Each database communicates with the other so that work items created or changed in KutchCAD update in the estimating software, and vice versa. This direct link avoids duplicate entry and supports consistent work item references.

Pricing schedules, technical specifications and descriptive notices are integrated into KutchCAD. The estimate becomes another project view, alongside 2D and 3D. Create libraries in KutchCAD or use those from connected estimating software.
