KutchCAD, a complementary quantity takeoff tool for estimating and project management software.
KutchCAD has been developed to generate quantity takeoffs and estimates by reproducing and automating the traditional workflow on plans. Forget the laborious minute of measurement, the repetitive checks, the constant modifications... Thanks to KutchCAD, everything is linked: the modification of the plan automatically leads to the modification of the measurement. And since KutchCAD is interfaced with your estimating or office-software, estimates, quantitative descriptions, technical specifications are directly generated from the drawings.

DIGITAL MODELS
The BIM model is reconstituted from imported plans (DXF, DWG, PDF, scanned plans, site surveys) or drawn by you. Each project element contains the works you want to see in the DPGF. The measurement is derived from the dimensions of the elements drawn and organized into calculation formulas.
LOCATION PLANS
& SITE PROGRESS PLANS
Facilitate the work of the laying teams by highlighting the works to be done. KutchCAD also makes it possible to realize site progress plans.
FRAMEWORK MEASUREMENTS
The purlins, rafters and battens can be installed in one go on roof panels according to the parameters of sections, spacing, etc. Knots and hip joints can be added on an ad hoc basis. As well, it is possible to model traditional frames on sections or in 3D views from pre-registered elements ( hips, braces, punches, braces, blocks...).
PLUMBING & ELECTRICITY
Set up the equipments, then pull the lines between them. Structures can be quoted by the unit or in cost mode to know the sheath and cable shelves. One description per item can also be saved in the library and produce a quote without having to draw any 2D symbols.
FACADE QUANTITY TAKEOFFS FROM PHOTOS
For facade work (plastering, painting, cladding), KutchCAD offers a feature that transforms simple photographs of buildings (taken in perspective) into geometric views (elevation facades) with scaling, enabling an accurate measurement of the surfaces to be treated. Tools are also available to reconstruct a building’s full unfolded layout.
SYNC WITH ESTIMATING
& PROJECT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
The direct link, or synchronization, between KutchCAD’s database and your estimating/project management software eliminates the need for export and import filters between programs. Each database waits for a signal from the other to establish communication: any creation or modification of a project in KutchCAD is reflected simultaneously in the estimating software, and vice versa. This direct link helps prevent errors, avoid duplicate data entry, and ensures 100% reliable project references.
BID AUTOMATION
KutchCAD’s direct connection with the SPIGAO application allows you to:
• Easily search for and select bids relevant to your activity in your geographic area
• Import the DPGF directly
• Perform quantity takeoffs
• Quantify projects with simple drag-and-drop of items
• Analyze and compare the results with the quantities listed in the bids, and finally, submit your proposals.
Each bid can then be converted into project tracking and invoicing.
WRITTEN DOCUMENTS
